Lenore Pipes is a category 1 road and cyclocross racer who is
dedicating her season to benefiting cancer research at The Wistar
Institute. Lenore is a research assistant in the Dr. Harold C.
Riethman Laboratory at The Wistar Institute. The lab studies the
significance of subtelomeres, which are one of the most variable and
recombination-prone regions of the human genome, and are important in
the context of aging, cancer, and telomere-associated disorders.
Lenore has a season-long goal of raising $10,000 to help support the
laboratories and researchers who are progressing towards fully
conquering the devastating disease of cancer.
This fund was created in order to provide support for cancer research at The
Wistar Institute. If you’d like to donate to this fund click here.
